SUNDAY SCHOOL
Church School:
St. Paul's Sunday School is held every Sunday from 10:00am to 11:30 am in the parish hall, separate and apart from service. Children ages four (4) to eighteen (18) attend class taught by a collective of several long term parishoners who are also professionals in the fields of education, nursing and law. |
Sunday school instruction begins with the St. Francis Prayer, or any other notable prayer, followed by a period of discussion where children are encouraged to share highlights of their week. Thereafter, the Gospel is read, discussed, and related to daily life. Younger children are also taught the lesson by storytelling, and are encouraged to color or draw pictures related to the lesson.
Our children are continuously reminded of the two main commandments which is to love God , love your neighbor, and while doing so, practice self protection. In addition to class instruction , youth participate in presentations and plays throughout the year, such as: the Christmas Pageant and Black History Month.
St. Paul Episcopal Church is a diverse and compassionate community whose mission is to share and practice the Word of God. All are warmly welcomed.
